Deepavali the festival of light

It's a Indian festival of light not festival of alcohol or gangsterism.

Ohana :)

Despite of having strict rules for Indian girl, a Deepavali cleaning is a must fo every indian girl collaborated with their mom. We started cleaning with little compartment and slowly we ended up painting the house. Since it's a first Deepavali celebration for my sister after her marriage "Thala Deepavali", my mom made sure spotless dust. with the advantage of being youngest baby girl in my family, I had the advantage of giving excuses whenever I get lazy.
Mesmerized by the nature

During Deepavali eve, we were almost done with cleaning just need to decrorate the house with Deepavali cards. Me and 2 sisters did the simple yet nice kolam for welcoming our guest and relatives. At 12 am midnight, the non-stop fire crackers around my taman triggered the zeal in me. As soon as I am done with playing fire crackers I dozed off early because I know tomorrow is going to be the longest day of the year. At 5 am in the morning we had oil bath and we set out to the temple with our brand new outfits. I had this amazing breakfast idli with chicken curry and chutney.. all home made yo! and after that for two days there were full of laughters and happines and visiting our neighbors and relatives made feel loved.

On 8th November, we went for a vacation just my family and my aunt's family in Ipoh, Perak. We booked this amazing homestay.. trust me guys it was just like a palace for us. Our times spent there during two days increase the bonding between us like bread and butter. We played family games like playing Uno cards and the charade games. Just beacuse time is very limited for us we only visited Tasik Cermin, Gunung Rapat, Perak. Tasik Cermin, or Mirror Lake, is a stunning hidden lake surrounded by limestone karst towers. I have visited hundreds of lovely places in Malaysia, but this is one of the most spectacular natural settings I have seen. For the couple whose going to get married soon, this is one of the place for you guys to have a pre wedding photoshoot.
2018 Deepavali Vacay!

After that we stopped by at Restaurant Moga Manjab situated at Little India, Ipoh to have the best pani puri. Not only the shop is famous for their home made pani puri, but the freshly- made chapathi there taste really good, soft and fluffy. I can say that I had the most amazing time with my family and relatives this year Deepavali. I hope we will last this relationship forever.

P/s: Every year is Sober Deepavali for us.
