Good day dear readers, its been a while since i updated my blog, due to some other events. Anyways finally i have found time to update my blog. On the recent weekend on 08/08/18, i got the chance to finally visit the Sri Sivasanggara Valmuni Vanamuni temple located in U.S.. i meant Ulu Sawah, Negeri Sembilan. The idea came just out of the bloom in my mind. it was just a random thought on a random weekend where i woke up to a good aroma of own made coffee. It turned out to be one of my best thought ever.
About this temple..i have heard about this temple. Especially about the night activities and prayers being conducted at night. I've heard the night prayers gives you such a feeling that you would feel divine and just appreciate yourself for all the things you've done. With the music and rhythms played by live Indian Traditional music and the crowd being very supportive you wouldn't wanna leave the place. Why i say the crowd is supportive is because not only Indians are present at the temple but even people from other religions and even a few foreigners as well. i was surprised to see them at the temple dressed up properly and my gosh were they very gorgeous 😉😜
This temple is dedicatd for Lord Sivasanggara Valmuni Vannamuni. This temple is located at Lot 5601,5602 Kuala Sawah, Ulu Sawah, Rantau , Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus. The temple is easily accessible via north and south highway, exit at the Port Dickson (Rasah) plaza toll gate. It takes about 30 minutes drive from the plaza toll and around 20 minutes from the Seremban2 Town. There are several ways to the temple one is from Rasah, Second from Taman Tuanku Jaafar and Senawang, Thirdly from Rantau (Port Dickson) and Fourthly fro Rembau and Tampin using the Taman Tuanku Jaafar way.
Since it sounds like the temple is in a very remote area some of us might worry about tracking and questions like "do we need a special vehicle to get there" pops out, the answer is NO.
Don't worry, all the roads and pathway are smooth and in a very good condition, any type of vehicle would be able to access the roads to the temple.
How about parking?... Where can i park my car?... have no fear. The temple has reserved a massive rocky ground parking space on the East of the temple. Devotees can park their car there and walk to the temple which is just less than 40 meters away. The parking space provided is even enough for 2 bus to make a full turn around to exit the road.
POOJAI SCHEDULE:-
Prayers (Poojai) are held two times daily, Monday - Sunday
Morning 7.00am & Evening 7.30pm
Now.. as i mentioned temple what came into your mind for the environment? What is a temple? Why do we visit a temple? is it to talk about our problems...
This temple will be able to do so. With the way the temple is built and the environment in the temple itself will make u forget about the busy roads, hustle and bustle of the city. I was shocked when i realized i spent almost 3 n half hours there just sitting by the stairs admiring the nature, the statues and alluring art works.. not to forget there is also a Fountain area just opposite the temple hall filled with lots of Tortoise.
On a side note, i hope everyone is an animal lover because by the time we make our way from the parking to the temple you will be surrounded by tonnes of little puppies and average sized dogs, the don't bark but they would jump on us and roll over in-front of us hoping we would pet them and offer something 💗 here is a picture of one of the little one that caught our special attention 💗
Below attached some pictures i took at the temple 😄
