A wise man said, money is not everything. You can spend money to get stuff but with that same amount of money you could get an experience that is worth much more that the material things that you can purchase.

Last weekend we set out to give our hands a try at prawn fishing..... Dam son, it's nothing like fishing at all. If you think fishing requires patience then try prawn fishing you will start growing white hair while waiting. But it's not just patience it also requires skill.

Kolam Pancing Udang Galah Ayer Molek!!

A place worth visiting if you want to try out prawn fishing. It's a relatively small pond that is manmade but do not be deceived by its size cause it has alot of prawns in it.

About the place:
*Clean
*20 minutes from melaka town
*Inside a housing area
*Everything provided
*The catch is yours to keep
*Rm20 per hour for one rod
*Refills huge prawns every 1 hour into the pond
*Toilet available
*Hot/cold drinks available

Method:
*Set the line to the right height
*Place the bait on the hook
*Place the rod in the pond and wait
*Once you see your float is slowly sinking, SLOWLY pull the rod
*As you pull the rod, the prawn will try to pull it downwards, but BE PATIENT AND BE GENTLE
*A slight jerk can release the prawn from the hook

Conclusion: BE PATIENT AND GENTLE!!
