The real spider men

Afraid of heights? Well you must overcome your fear of heights if you want to become a seafarer. I called them spider men because even at the highest part of the ship they still have the guts to climbed it and do whatever job they need to do. It's not easy to work aloft on a ship compared to land because the ship is moving in the water not mentioning if the ship rolls and pitch, also the wind is very strong when you are at the top one wrong move will maybe cost their lives.
These guys are doing maintenance at the aft mast or we called it "Christmas tree". They are getting into position for chipping/scalling. It's very difficult to move when you are in a position like this specially when having a strong wind blowing.
For safety measures of course they've been briefed of the possible danger for working aloft, during toolbox meeting risk assessment is conducted by the chief officer, the person who will do the job will sign the Permit To Work (PTW) signed by the ship captain as proof that all safety precautions have been discussed and understood.
This guy wearing a mask like spider man doing some maintenance on the ship's crane alone, took a lot of guts and experience for this.
