Freddie Mercury
Hye guys , have u guys listen to old songs? If you guys do i bet you all will know one legendary band in late 70-80s called "The Queen"
So, today i will tell you guys a short biography about Queen's lead singer, Freddie Mercury, from his childhood till the form of his legendary band.
Freddie Mercury was born in Stone town in the british protectorate of Zanzibar which is now Tanzania on 5th Sept 1946. He born with Parsis background which he and his family practices Zoroastrian religion.
Mercury spend most of his childhood in India and began taking piano lesson at the age of seven. At the age of 8 he was sent to St Peter's school, near Mumbai. His career as a singer started when he was at this school where he formed a school band named the Hectics, which covers rock and roll artist.
At the age of 17, Mercury and his family fled from Zanzibar due to Zanzibar revolution that killed many Indians and Arab. They moved to a small house in Middlesex, England.
Mercury enrolled at Isleworth polytechnics where he studied art. He earned his diploma and art and design at University of West London. After graduation, he joined a lot of bands , but due to the failure of the band itself , he kept on joining and leaving each band until one day he met with guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor. After a while they team up with bassist Johd Deacon. Mercury chosed the Queen for the name of his new band. At the same time he changed his surname from Bulsara to Mercury. The logo was made from the their members zodiazlc sign .
Two lions for Deacon amd Tyler (sign Leo) , crabs for May (sign Cancer) and two fairies for Mercury ( Virgo). There is also a crown between then lions shadowed by pheonix.
