Life at Sea

"A calm sea never makes a great seafarer".

 Its was a saying that every seafarer can relate. Life at sea was never been easy.  There are times that one of our feet was inside a hole. We never know what might happen in the next day or even after a minute. Seafaring was an adventurous profession yet requires a great courage and sacrifices.  I wrote this blog for every youngster who dreamed to become a seafarer someday for them to see the reality waiting for them in the middle of the oceans. 

I was once one of those who dreamed to sail someday and travel the world for free. I've dreamed to see the other side of the world. Seeing different races, the black, the brown and the white people.  How they live and ofcourse all the beautiful places they were living. 

Seafaring is indeed a great adventour!!! Seeing the horizon during the sunset at a very calm sea was really amazing. It can take away all the tiredness during the long day of work. 

 But what is the real life onboard behind all the good photos and videos we can see in every timeline??

Does the photo shows the loneliness we can feel due to homesickness? The stress we get from our work?? All of this will be replaced by happiness when we sign off.  Signing off was one of the best feeling you will had in your life. Its was unexplainable.
