Over the years, Tun Dr Mahathir has been criticised for his leadership style that was often seen as hard hitting when he needed to get something done. He wasn’t afraid to speak up and make changes
when it was necessary. He recently said, “Guts is a commodity that is scarce in this country.”

The Prime Minister knows exactly how to tailor his speeches and talks so that the people easily understand the message. During the campaigning season, he went around the country talking to the
public. His style of delivery coupled with his unique sense of humour got many people to listen to what he had to say. He also spoke with conviction of how the new government would bring about a change
in the country, which helped tip the election in his favour.
