A lot of people have played video games as it is so widely available nowadays in this technological age. From our mobile phones to large arcade games, it is no escape from most children and even adults alike. Some of the most influential games would be DOOM.

This game popularized First Person Shooters and trail blazed the triple A games which most enjoy today. Next would be the Grand Theft Auto series of games. No other game series have unleashed such a large cultural phenomena. It showed the true potential of sandbox type games.

An icon which is famous far and wide, PAC MAN is a character which made gaming popular among the masses. It is a highly addictive game which is still played today on many different platforms almost 40 years from its first release.
Defense of The Ancients, or DOTA! has become a gaming platform so huge they have e-sport competitions for playing where winners win up to millions of dollars! DOTA did not start out as a game by itself. It was actually a mod of the game Warcraft III which was ported from a different game. Nevertheless, it found much favor among the masses where it skyrocketed and made the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena famous.
