South India side dish


Tamarind & Ginger Chutney



Heat 2 tbsp of oil. add 1 tbsp of cumin


Add pounded of 3 inch of ginger and 5 cloves of garlic

500 ml of water and 5 lemon size of tamarind extract

Add the tamarind juice

Add 2 tbsp of raisins

Add 1 tbsp of chili powder
Salt to taste

Add 1 tbsp of chili flakes

Add 4 tbsp of palm sugar. Remove from heat once started boiling.
Tamarind & Ginger Chutney is ready to be served with dosa.
