What is Malaysian Maritime Academy??

What is Akademi Laut Malasia (Malaysian Maritime  Academy)?? Have you heard of the name? Its a world class maritime academy which is located in Kuala Sungai Baru, Melaka, Malaysia. 

Although the place surrounding Alam is one of the most borring place in the world. You can only see grass and trees around the area with some houses nearby. As it is in a coastline, you can assume that it is near the beach. But the beach was so muddy that you cannot enjoy swimming. And for me this place has one of the worst  transportation system in the world for a foreigner like me who doesnt have a car. Then you will ask me how Alam become a world class maritime academy??
